Andrea Cressoni de Conti is an Associate Professor (Livre-Docente) in the field of Solid Fuels at the São Paulo State University (UNESP). She earned her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UNESP, specializing in Materials, where her research focused on the physical and mechanical properties of wood, as well as industrialization through wood-based panels and wood drying processes. She completed her Master's degree in Physics (IFT-UNESP) at the São Paulo State University in 1995. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from UNESP and a Licentiate degree in Mathematics from UNINOVE. Currently, she is a Professor in the Department of Energy Engineering at the School of Engineering and Sciences (FEC-UNESP/Rosana Campus), where she conducts research on Bioenergy in the field of Solid Fuels, specifically through the energy densification process. She is the leader of the BioJoule Research Group (ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5433-3295). She serves as a graduate advisor in the Bioenergy Program, which integrates the three state universities of São Paulo (UNESP, USP, and UNICAMP).
