Abstract
RTM is a production process of composites by transfering resin in low viscosity and pressure to a closed molding containing the perform. It is adequate to produce complex geometry components of composites which require high quality of finishing and no measurement limitation. Technical aspect as: 1) the tool, the accessories as the breath and the injection gates which have important influence on the process efficiency and final product quality; 2) injection resin configuration control and, 3) the reinforcement, which affect the resin flux, are limitation factor to a wide practical application field to develop an experimental method suitable to the RTM use which may to support the project to produce aeronautics components, it is necessary to obtain financial support for the acquisition of a RTM equipment (Radius 2100cc RTM injector), which is of fundamental importance to contribute to the development of research program by the composite group from the materials and technology department responsible for the Materials engineering course at UNESP/FEG. The acquisition of a scanning acoustic microscope is intended. This equipment is suitable to control void ratio and the detection of resin flux on polymeric composites. (AU)
