FAPESP Innovative Research in Small Business (PIPE) aims to support scientific and technological research, carried out in startups and small innovative companies in the State of São Paulo. The projects are carried out under the responsibility of investigators who have an employment contract with those companies or are associated with them for research development. The selection is through a peer-reviewing system. Phase 1 is used to verify the technical and scientific feasibility of the proposal, lasting up to 9 months.
