Estou interessado em compreender como processos ecológicos e evolutivos moldam e são moldados pelos padrões observados em interações ecológicas. Para tal, integro dados ecológicos, modelagem matemática e ferramentas analíticas derivadas do estudo de redes complexas. Atualmente sou professor associado do Departamendo de Ecologia, Instituto de Biociências da USP. Fui pesquisador associado ao Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, University of California, Santa Cruz, Estados Unidos (2008-2009, 2012) e ao Departamento de Física da Matéria Condensada do Instituto de Física ?Gleb Wataghin? da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2006-2008, 2009). Fiz bacharelado e licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2000 e 2001), Mestrado em Ecologia pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2003), Doutorado em Ecologia pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2006) e livre docência pela Universidade de São Paulo (2017).
