Abstract
The interdisciplinary group for research into neuroimaging in epilepsy of the University of São Paulo's School of Medicine proposes to develop five research projects involving aspects of structural and functional neuroimaging in the study of cognitive and behavioral functions in adult and pediatric patients, who suffer from epilepsy as well as genetic aspects and characterization of the neural interconnectivity on a large scale. An integrated multi-center study group involving the clinical, neuropsychological areas of neuroimaging and basic Science (genetics and mathematical models of neural connectivity) will make it possible to develop important research in the different fields of epilepsy and neurosciences. (AU)
