Graduated in Animal Science from the Federal University of Santa Maria (2006), MSc in Animal Science from the Federal University of Santa Maria (2009) and PhD in Animal Science from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (2013). Has made internships sandwich PhD abroad at the University of Zurich, Switzerland (November 2011 to June 2012). Was Post-doctoral at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. Has experience in the area of Animal Science, with emphasis on evaluation Animal Food and Nutritional Requirements, acting on the following subjects: analysis of feed, protein degradability, digestibility, requirements, pregnancy, portal and hepatic metabolism, methodologies in ruminant nutrition, mineral metabolism in ruminants.
